After MUCH Youtube grief involving actual tears, I can finally show you my little London Fashion Week video diaries! These videos are not about exquisite quality and perfect angles - they are intended to show you what my London Fashion Week was really like, from the fashion show rejections and queue conversations to my endless quest to make others laugh... Some of the footage was filmed secretly to give you an even more realistic sense of what went on!
I have spread out Day 1 and 2's antics over two 15 minute clips below, and Day 3 and 4's footage will be along soon! Blood, sweat and tears have gone into making these flaming videos, so you better bloody watch them or so help me god I will hunt you down I really hope you enjoy them ^_^
Part 1:
Part 2:
Let me know what you thought of my LFW life through a (slightly wobbly) lens...
♥
PS - check out the photo diaries for more details! Day 1, Day 2.
Wow, we'll done. I would not have the first clue how to go about making a video, props to you. Maybe you should do a tutorial or tuesday tips on how to do a vid. They really are v. Good. Xx
Pure comedy gold: I've been cracking up at your commentary on the pigeon as well as you humourously stirring up trouble in the queue when you asked if the security guard said 'BRB' haha; you make LFW look hilarious :) xxx
These are brilliant! I paused the film I was watching as soon as I saw you'd finally got them live. My telly has now gone to sleep. I loved the Rocha/Rocher comparison and the banana prank plus 'I'm just going to move your shit' 'Thanks Jen, you'd make a great maid if you weren't so talented'- LOLZ! xx
Your videos made me smile and laugh. You sound like such a great gal. I loved all the funny things you said or did :D Its great to see what LFW is like from a bloggers perspective. I totally dig the the pretty clothes and ugly creeperss (I want a pair so bad).
I loved these videos, because my LFW experience is pretty identical! But from experience, I actually think I enjoy the shows that you manage to blag more than the ones you actually have tickets too! Must be the adrenaline/excitement or something ;)
i watched these allll the way through, loved them!! politeness gets you everywhere, manners are so important amazing work! it's like they need the show to be full and hyped so they should be thankful for people who choose to go like you! if you ever would i think you would be marvy at daily vlogs like gemsmaquillage!xx
You are quite the comedian!! I enjoyed the "did he say brb...bbs??", the shoe tapping while queuing and the mentions of metaphorical tickets. Needless to say these were really fun to watch.
So jealous! Great coverage and this was oh so funny as well! i.e"Cinema of Rejection." Loved the sexy pigeon and the bit when you said "did he say brb?" I like the way you actually show the reality of LFW and not just some pretentious videos of just the shows themselves. Can't wait to see the next ones and definitely make more! Hopefully when I go to bed tonight there won't be a sadistic banana in there!
I loved these! It's nice reading everyone's text posts, but I think a cheeky couple of videos really bring it to life for us that couldn't be there. PLUS, you have such a cheekily sweet style it is impossible not to love these, even if you hated fashion! The phone should be ringing off the hook for more TV work... :] Heather beforeghosts.blogspot.com
Gem, you're brilliant in front of the camera. These videos are hilarious! Although I am mortally ashamed that my fox PJs (and makeup-less face, and bed head!) are on the internet!
Oh Gem, that was the best half hour I've spent today. Someone needs to give you your own tv show. (Not just a slot on superscrimpers!) Keep up the lolz. Becky http://www.doingitinstyle.blogspot.com
