Hey hotties!
Gosh I hope I didn't look this stumpy-legged in real life wearing this outfit!!
(Jacket/top/jeans/socks - Topshop, DM's - c/o Very)
One was my final presentation at university, which was at 9.30am. I only had 3 hours sleep so I was (am!) feeling very zombified! I think it went okay though... here's hoping! On the subject of university, you can see some of mine and my course mates' finest work in the OXO gallery from 3-5th June. I'll probably be hanging around there on Sun afternoon if anyone wants to say hi. This isn't set in stone but I will tweet on Sunday if I'll be heading to the exhibition. If you're interested in seeing the only 3D copy of my Tuesday Tips book, come on down!
The second thing I did in my new blouse today was hop on the train to London for the Debenhams press day. I'll save my thoughts on that for another post because I'm trying to get hold of a few more images to share! I did bump into the fabulous Jazz at the event, and we decided to mooch (aka HIKE) to Oxford Street to spend the vouchers we received for attending the press day.
I finally. Finally. Got the perfume of my dreams.
I don't think I'm Juicy Couture's target market at all (I find velour almost as offensive as fleece), but their Viva La Juicy is bewitching!! Gorgeous! I have wanted it for so so so long but it's so hard to find around here, and I was never in London when I had enough money to treat myself! I paid extra on top of my voucher to get the 100ml size, which came with a free box of miniatures. Not bad for £62..! Okay that is pretty expensive, but it is amazing stuff! Sweet and fruity and lovely. I'm descending into raving lunatic territory. I'll shush.
Back tomorrow!
♥

I have Juicy Couture Couture Couture which is lush, so I must check this out, or sniff rather, hehe. Looking lovely in the outfit btw! Great look.

I had no idea that perfume was so expensive! Eeeek! I got gifted some and it's not my thing at all so I've been using it to spray on cushions and stuff rather than actually wearing it. It just doesn't suit me at all haha! I really like your new blouse and dont think your legs look stumpy at all! xx
ReplyDeleteI agree! I'm not so into Juicy Couture (although i do have a really nice anchor shirt i got in NY) but their perfume is my FAVE! (out of althe ones i sniff daily!) Their original and couturecouture are in my top 5 scents! xx
ReplyDeleteLovely outfit post Gem! I absolutely adore the clothes you bought the other day, but I couldn't comment at the time as my netbook died as I was typing :{! x
ReplyDeleteAh give over Gem, you don't look stumpy at all!
ReplyDeleteAhhhh those jeans are beautiful, looking for a pair myself but I live in tights so I'm not sure if jeans would be my 'thang' - you wear them very well.
ReplyDeleteThe colour of that top is wonderful with the black also. Must check out that perfume, I'm clueless when it comes to perfume though! I have no idea what scent would suit me. Glad your presentation went alright too, they can be nerve wracking stuff but you seem like a confident person so s'all gravy!
You look really nice, loving the outfit! That perfume bottle looks amazing xoxo

ReplyDeleteThe blouse is so cute and you look great in these pictures. I don't think I have ever even smelled that perfume but I shall definitely give it a try next time I'm somewhere that sells it. Geeez you look positively tiny in that outfit! I wish I had your legs!!
ReplyDeleteOMG! SHUT UP!!!
ReplyDeleteI was in Selfrdiges the other day and was harassed by some sales woman with a scent card which i then carried, sniffing like a loon, with me ALL day and it was the Juicy Couture scent!!
At first I was all "get that crap out of my face" but then it was literally my 'famous lock of hair' psycho moment....i LOVE the scent!
Excited to see the Press Day coverage x
And I might sneak and check out the hardcopy of Tuesday Tips...wont be in London on Sunday though, which is a bummer *sigh*

I despise fleece aswell. I got presented with a freeby fleece at work the winter just gone and they expected me to be ecstatic about it.
ReplyDeleteIt's green and yellow and has a zip.
