An Outfit(ter) post!

Hola!

So, one week until my dissertation is handed in! Whether it will be finished is another matter, but at this point I just want it out of my life! I had my last tutorial for it today and my tutor said some lovely lovely things (my writing style was 'perfect', appaz!), so I'm feeling quite confident about it now. I stayed up until 4.30am on it this morning. I find I work easier throughout the night and having a lie in than waking up early to do work. Jeremy Kyle and This Morning are always too distracting!

So, these are the bargains I picked up at Urban Outfitters last week. They were both a tenner, down from a collective price of £150-ish! The blue playsuit is a tad risque for me, as it is a bit of a bra flasher, but it doesn't really show in real life. I'll probably wear something under it anyway... I'm not sure parading a doughy, white midriff it is ever an appropriate style decision! And the leopard dress needs a bit of taking in, as it's a size large, but I really like it. Thinking I need to chillax on the leopard print front for a while now... It's becoming the sole criterion I look for in a garment!

I'm going to go and chill for a bit now. I have the weekend off work so I will be cracking on with uni work big time, but for tonight I am going to sort out my SHAMEFUL nails (chipped grey polish and various lengths!) and watch 'Dinner for Shmucks' with the boyf. (EDIT: Alex has just seen me type that and has informed me he doesn't want to watch it with me now, because I shouted at him for trying to talk to me whilst I was blogging. It was his own fault!)

Thanks for all your kind comments wishing me luck with the diss. Much appreciated! Good luck to anyone else that has deadlines looming, there seems to be a lot of it about! ♥

  5. Ahhhhh I know how you feel about the dissertation situation, even though mine's about blogging it's made me overanalyse the whole thing so much, I feel like a right weirdo! I've also been very distracted by the internet (and blogging) and must have the worst research to writing ratio ever! That playsuit is awesome and what a bargain, bra flashing all the way!

  7. Excellent bargains there! Urban Outfitters is so insanely overpriced but I think they do have really good reductions during the sales.
Love the playsuit, the lacey detail on the front is very pretty.

Well done on getting such good feedback from your tutor, I'm sure you're going to do brilliantly! Best of luck with getting it all done - just think, in one week's time it will all be over and done with and you can breathe a HUGE sigh of relief yaaaaaaay!!! x

  14. I love them both but the leopard print particularly suits you! I definitely have started using it as a criteria for everything - purse, bag, coat, clothes, hair bows and especially my nails after your eyeliner tutorial!

Good luck with the last week of it!

  16. I would just wear a black or navy blue bra under it because maybe a top wouldn't look right. Just my opinion. Oh and i want to steal that leopard dress from you :) it's so pretty.

  17. Thanks for the breasticle close up, know what you mean about the bra flashing, but i think showing a bit of bra like that is okay, but a top cut to the belly button and too much cleavage is a no no. In other words, you look lovely! Love the leopard too, and it does suit you if that helps to justify buying more animal print?!

I sort of work better in the evening but I hear my mum's voice in my head too much telling me that I should get up and get going, and I also just get too sleepy! Only when deadlines are looming the next day can I apply the night time vigour!
Good luck with finishing your diss, I'm only just starting mine properly now, could be an interesting few months!

  50. The playsuit is gorgeous, you have enviably good legs and the colour is really nice.

Talking of doughy, white midriffs...a man sat next to me on the bus today with a belly like the 'belly's gonna get ya' wearing a crop top. I kid you not - a crop top. And he tickled his belly button.

Completely unfashion related, but it's scarred my mind and you mentioned midriff so... lol x
